Kids Club Lent Series Preview

Lent is a special time for Christians to reflect on the life of Jesus and the path He walked in obedience and surrender, leading to the ultimate victory of the cross and resurrection. This year in Kids Club, we’re inviting children and families to journey with us in a brand-new series called “From the Wilderness to the Cross.” This eight-week series will explore key moments from the Gospel of Luke, helping kids understand the story of Jesus in a way that is meaningful and inspiring for their lives.
What makes this series even more exciting is that it connects directly with the sermon series Pastor Faith will be preaching during Lent. As Pastor Faith explores these key themes with the congregation, your children will be diving into the same stories and lessons in Kids Club—helping your entire family engage with God’s Word together.
Our goal for this series is simple: to help kids grow in their love for God. Through the stories of Jesus’ ministry, His teachings, and His example of surrender, we’ll discover how following Jesus leads to life, hope, and transformation.
Here’s a glimpse at the journey we’ll take together:
Each week, kids will experience engaging Bible lessons, creative activities, and opportunities for discussion to help them connect these stories to their own lives. We’ll talk about what it means to surrender to God’s plans, live with faith, and grow in our love for Him.
We encourage families to take this journey with us! As Pastor Faith dives into these powerful stories during worship, ask your children about what they’re learning in Kids Club. Explore the stories of Luke together at home, and spend time reflecting on what Jesus’ journey means for your family. Lent is a wonderful time to grow closer to God and each other as we prepare to celebrate the joy of Easter.
We can’t wait to walk this meaningful journey with your children! See you in Kids Club!
