Fleming Island UMC is a place where you can Love God, Love Others and Share Jesus. All of our ministries are geared to help you and your family grow in a deep, genuine relationship with God. Below are the steps we can help you take to grow closer with God.

Sunday Mornings 9:30am
& Livestreamed anytime

This is the first step for most people.  We worship in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.  We do appreciate wearing masks. Whether you join us from home, on the road or in person, you are in worship. We typically start with 3 songs and a time of prayer.

Everyone is welcome in the sanctuary, but we do have a nursery and a toddler room if your little ones prefer. Elementary kids are invited to go to our D.O.C.K.  ministry and 5th and 6th graders to our S.U.R.G.E. ministry, after the prayer time.  Parents can pick them up after worship.

The sermon runs about 25 minutes and we follow with communion. Currently, we have individual servings of a wafer and juice on each chair. If you worship through the Livestream, you are invited to take communion with a piece of bread and grape juice.

Following the sermon we close worship with one song and a benediction or blessing.

You being here is the most important thing about your first worship service. We can't wait to meet you.

Questions about Worship?

If a smaller group is more comfortable for you to start, here are some of the groups we have currently. Or, if you've been joining us for worship, please consider joining a small group.
All of us need people around us we trust to help us Love God, Love Others and Share Christ. Following Jesus is not easy and none of us gets it right all the time. We need people who will care for us and inspire us and pray for us. Here's a listing of our groups.

Questions about Small Groups?

Loving God, Loving Others and Sharing Jesus is not just about our individual lives, but putting God's love into action to bless people around us. We have wonderful partnerships with nonprofit agencies in Clay County and opportunities through the United Methodist Church to experience Jesus by loving the people right around us. If you want to make this your first step, fill out the contact form on our Missions page. We'll help you meet Jesus as we serve Clay County and beyond.
