Children
Welcome to the Children’s Ministries at FIUMC. This is where children will dive into God’s word as they develop the skills to unlock the Bible’s message and explore the depths of God's love so that they may discover hope and deepen their faith so they will always know God loves them, period!.
FIUMC Kids Club serves as the guide to help children learn how to discover hope, deepen their faith, and demonstrate love to others as we deepen the children's faith formation.
Children's Ministries allows children to wonder, discover, and play as we have faith conversations, build relationships, listen to stories, and explore the Bible in many ways.
Missions
Here at FIUMC, we believe missions is about serving our community with our time, our talents, and our treasures. We support Bannerman Learning Center, Residing Hope (formerly the United Methodist Children's Home), Project GLOW (A ministry for children with Special Needs), and The Clothing Shed (Clothing drop-off for families who experience natural disasters. We look forward to you helping us providing God's love to the community.
Growth Groups
We’re here to help you connect with God and others. Some Growth Groups focus on learning, while others emphasize serving. By choosing to participate, you can build friendships, find support, and receive encouragement. We have a Men's Group, Women's Group, Youth Group, Boomer's Group, and Bible Study Group.
Congregational Care
Our Congregational Care ministries reach out in a personal way to walk alongside you during good times and bad alike – including health concerns, loss of employment, welcoming a child, loss of a loved one or other life changes. We strive to take the caring heart and hands of Jesus to our members and church friends.

our ministries
Children
Children play an essential role in our church family and community. To support their spiritual development, we provide age-appropriate programs for children from six weeks through fifth grade. Our aim is to create an enjoyable learning experience centered on the Bible and the significance of serving God, their community, and others, all within a secure environment.
Teens
We are a community of students connected to growing in God’s love. Church membership is not required to participate in youth activities – everyone is welcome. Our mission is to connect and spend time in community with each other, grow in Christ by growing in our spiritual walks with each other, weekly worship, and go with a purpose to spread the love of Jesus.
College
Our college and young adult ministries are passionate about engaging hearts in worship, heads in understanding, and hands in meeting the needs of the world. College students and young adults 18-35 interested in having honest discussions about God, faith, the Bible and life are welcome. You do not have to be a member of this church to participate.
Men
Men’s Ministry offers men a place to grow in faith, forge strong friendships, and navigate their daily lives alongside Jesus. In healthy faith communities, men do not have to confront pressure, temptation, or family challenges alone. In the Men’s Ministry, participants can:
-Build genuine friendships that promote strength and accountability.
-Study scripture and learn how to apply its teachings in daily life.
-Pray with other men who understand real-world pressures.
-Explore opportunities to serve families, the church, and the community.
Women
Women’s ministry offers a welcoming community where women can come together to engage in conversations about life, and support one another through prayer, connection, and friendship. Our Women’s Ministry focus on:
-Prayer that builds trust in Jesus and care for each other
-Friendship that brings together women of different ages and backgrounds
-Serving the community through simple, practical acts of kindness
Music
The Music Ministry uplifts and encourages the body of Christ through song and worship. God has given our Praise Team the responsibility and the privilege of proclaiming His righteousness with song and through music.
