Pre-Easter Sermon Series

God on Mute

Sometimes it feels like when we pray, God isn’t there. Why do we suffer and pray, but God stays silent? We’ll journey through the silence of unanswered prayers through the stages of Holy Week, reflecting on how God can still be present, even in the silence. This is a story of faith, hope, and love beyond all understanding.
This series uses Jesus' journey of Holy Week to talk about the different stages of prayer. As we approach Easter, we'll not only reflect on what he went through, but use it as an opportunity to learn from the person who had the most authentic prayer life. We'll see how Jesus worked through his darkest moments and what that can teach us.

Activities on Sunday, March 24

All Kids are invited to wave a palm branch in worship. Show up to the Kid's Space at 9:15 or 10:45 for each child to receive their palm branch. The kids will walk forward with their palms during the first worship song. Parents are welcome to walk with them if a child doesn't want to talk alone.
All are invited for our potluck and egg hunt. We'll provide ham and drinks and ask everyone to bring their favorite side to share. We'll have lunch in Grace Place (the white chapel near the road).  After lunch, we'll move outside, so be sure to dress accordingly (be prepared to get wet).  There will also be various yard games for everyone of all ages.   This event is rain or shine.
