VBS Day 2 Recap

For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
–Joshua 1:9

Day 2 didn't disappoint. The kids came excited after such a fun day yesterday. They were also ready to have their pictures taken so they could find themselves in our closing slideshow for the day. Our 38 children, 23 adults, and 8 youth volunteers spent their day doing the following things:

• Our kid's crews started God Sightings today. We invited the kids to write them down and stick them on a cactus on the wall.
• Experimenting with magnets in the Imagination Station taught them that there are no barriers too big for God.
• They learned more about Joseph and his dreams today. This time, Joseph went to join without doing anything wrong (Gen. 39-40). But, God was still with him and helped him in prison. (Joshua 1:9)
• They played a game with a parachute and beach balls to see what it's like when life gets rocky.
