VBS Day 5 Recap

“Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people!”
–Psalm 66:5

Well, this year's VBS is officially in the record books. Today, our 36 kids, 21 adults, and 10 youth celebrated everything they learned with a small presentation to their parents. Each crew sang a song they had been working on from worship time.

• The kids returned to Joseph's story, learning what happened when he was reunited with his family. (Genesis 42-45).
• They used bouncing rabbits to reflect on God's surprising love.
• They brought in 27 birthday bags to give to the food pantry for kids to use throughout the year. The kids dumped a bucket of water on the youths from games heads for every bag, along with pies in the face. (see pictures)
