Save the Date for Family Camp

We have an exciting new event coming this fall -  FIUMC Family Camp!    

Join us for a weekend away to celebrate being a family.  We will have the option to stay at camp Friday through Sunday or just to join us on Saturday.  We will be camping at Camp Chowenwaw in Green Cove Springs.  We are currently working out the details for the programming for this event, but I wanted to get our dates out to everyone.  

We have reserved 9 cabins at the Ahwenassa campsite that will be first come, first serve. The cost for camping will be approximately $125 per family of four and includes lodging and meals. (Financial assistance available.) If you would like to arrange to camp at a different campsite at Camp Chowenwaw, please make your campsite reservations independently.

There are a total of 9 cabins. Cabins #1-8 have one double bed and one set of bunk beds accommodating 4 people and cabin #9 has one double bed accommodating 2 people. AC/Heat, electrical outlets, and chairs are available in the cabins.

Separate men’s and women’s bathhouses with hot water; two fire rings; outdoor grills and picnic tables; shared kitchen with tables and chairs, refrigerator, range, microwave, electric outlets, outdoor hose bib, fireplace and covered patio with grill.
