Moms Morning Out
FIUMC Moms is an awesome group that was formed to bring moms together. This is a group of moms who support one another, while providing our children an opportunity to socialize and make friends.
We are currently meeting twice a month. On the first Thursday of each month, we meet for a walk or breakfast, often near a park so the kids can play. We have recently started meeting during the week once a month for dinner.
I enjoy watching our children play and getting to spend time with other moms who an share similar struggles that I may be having. As a stay-at-home mom, I feel that getting that adult interaction is important.
I hope this group grows with other moms who might just need a break from their day-to-day routine or who might need someone who will call and check-on them during the week. I know that through this group, I am building long lasting friendships.
