Thoughts to Ponder (Dynamite Prayer)

When you see the symbol of the cross (in jewelry, on clothing, in church), what comes to your mind first: the blessing God has given you?
Or do you see the cross as an invitation to your own spiritual surrender, with prayer requesting breakthroughs that will set you free to more fully follow Jesus? Or something else?

Prayer

God, open every door of my mind and heart that l've kept tightly closed or barricaded by my own self-interests, fears, or procrastination. May the dunamis activity of your Spirit break through, fill, and transform me completely as I follow you fully. Amen.
