Stewardship Over Ownership
Ecclesiastes 5:10-11 (NLT)
10 Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness! 11 The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers!
Money is a tool for stewardship, not a possession to be coveted. Christians are called to manage their resources in a way that honors God, recognizing that wealth is a responsibility rather than a personal entitlement. This perspective helps prevent the love of money from taking root and encourages the use of wealth to support one's spiritual journey and the work of God's kingdom.
Reflection Question: How can you shift your perspective from owning to stewarding your financial resources to better serve God's purposes?
