Character Amplified by Wealth
Luke 16:10-11 (NLT)
10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. 11 And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?
Money acts as a magnifier of one's character, revealing and amplifying both virtues and vices. Christians are encouraged to cultivate positive traits like generosity and kindness, ensuring that as their resources increase, so does their capacity for benevolence. This approach to wealth prevents it from becoming a stumbling block and instead turns it into a tool for good works.
Reflection Question: In what ways can you ensure that your financial growth leads to greater acts of kindness and generosity?
