Scars as Testimony
1 Peter 2:24 (NLT)
He personally carried our sins
in his body on the cross
so that we can be dead to sin
and live for what is right.
By his wounds
you are healed.
in his body on the cross
so that we can be dead to sin
and live for what is right.
By his wounds
you are healed.
Jesus' choice to retain His scars post-resurrection demonstrates that our past wounds are not erased but are transformed into a part of our identity. These scars serve as a means to demonstrate God's power and faithfulness, becoming a vital part of our testimony to others.
Reflection Question: How can you use your own scars or past wounds as a testimony to God's faithfulness in your life?
