Active Hope in Christ
Habakkuk 2:3 (NLT)
This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed.
Eternal hope in Christ is an anchor for the soul, especially during times of unanswered prayers or waiting. This hope is active, requiring an open heart to the unexpected ways God may reveal Himself and fulfill His promises.
Reflection Question: What unanswered prayer or situation are you waiting on God for? How can you actively maintain hope and openness to God's timing and methods?
