Kids Club Summer Activities

Last summer we learned that the weather here in Florida was too unpredictable for evening outdoor family activities.  So this summer we are hosting a free Summer Movie Series - with a few Friday evening and Saturday afternoon times. 

This past Friday we kicked off our Summer Movie Series.  We had a blast eating popcorn, watching a movie and hanging out with friends.  If you missed it, we still have three more movies we are watching this summer!  We will have popcorn and other refreshments.  Kids are able to be themselves during the movie and move around or fidget with a toy.  If your child has another sensory need, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.   For licensing reasons, we are unable to share which movies we will be showing, but message us at katies@fiumc.org and we would be happy to share with you which movies we are showing.  

The highlight of our summer is always vacation bible school or VBS.  During VBS we host between 50-75 kids for a week of singing, games, exploring, and learning about God.  This year we are diving underwater for a deep sea adventure discovering God's infinite love.

If you have a Preschooler (potty-trained 3 & 4 year-olds) or an Elementary-age child (rising K-6th grade), we would love for them to join us for the week!  

Adults and Students (7-12th grade) are invited to volunteer at VBS.  Our Students can earn community service hours.
