Scuba Day 1

Today, our divers learned that God is a friend who's real! Our aquatic explorers dove in and explored the story of  Elijah.

Their big take away was that God shows himself through ups and downs (1 Kings 18–19).

It was a wonderful start to the week! I want to give a big you to all the volunteers that decorated last week and Sunday. It all looks AMAZING!

Today, we had

• Kids - 60 (10 preschoolers)
• Youth Volunteers - 15
• Adults - 24

We couldn't have had everything go so smoothly without ever amazing helper!!

Our underwater adventurers also learned about our mission project for the week, Birthday Bags for the Green Cove Food Pantry. These bags are given to anyone who comes in and had a birthday coming up. For some, it would be the only way they have to celebrate a birthday. The food pantry tells us that it brings a lot of joy to every person who receives one!
