Wesleyan Rooted Kids

The Wesleyan Adventure of Growing in God's Love
During the month of September and beginning of October, our kids will be doing their own version of the Wesleyan Rooted sermon series.  This will be a five week series to help our kids learn our core beliefs as Methodists and learn a bit about John Wesley, who was the founder of the Methodist church.   Our lessons will be based off the book Big Hearts, Bright Love written by the Florida UMC Conference specifically for kids to accompany the Wesleyan Rooted sermon series. Each week we will focus on one of the following topics:
WEEK 1
Grow Deeply: It's All About Love
Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-19

WEEK 2
Read Faithfully: The Bible is Alive
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16-17

WEEK 3
Love Actively: It's More Than a Feeling
Scripture: Mark 12:28-31

WEEK 4
Embrace Widely: Love is All-Embracing
Scripture: Luke 15:20-24

Week 5
Serve Impactfully: Making a Difference in the World
Scripture: Matthew 25:35-40
As a part of this series, our Preteens will be invited to join us for daily devotionals through the YouVersion app.  There will be a different study plan for each week.  The link for each plan will be available Sundays during worship and in our Kids Club FB group.  If your child is not allowed to use technology, we will provide a link to the scriptures in the eMag and Kids Club FB Group each week.
Make sure to check out the Kids Club section in the Weekly eMag and the Kids Club FB Group for Family Devotionals and ways to keep the conversation going.

Wednesday Night Kids

As a part of this series, we will be offering Wednesday Night Kid from Sept. 11 to Oct. 9 as a weeknight extension of Kids Club for K-6th Graders. Our lessons and activities will coincide with what the adults will be discussing during their Bible Study. If it is successful, we would like to offer Wednesday Night Kids on a regular basis.

We are currently not planning any formal programming for our Littles (Birth-VPK), however care for our Littles will be available if needed.
