Set Your Compass for VBS 2025
This summer, get ready for an unforgettable adventure as we head north—True North, that is! Vacation Bible School 2025 is taking kids on a journey through the rugged beauty of Alaska, where glowing northern lights shine above towering mountains, racing rivers, and shimmering glaciers. But even more exciting than the scenery is the truth that will guide our path: Jesus is our True North—the one we can always trust, our unshakable, unmovable friend forever.
In a world that can sometimes feel wild and confusing, True North VBS points children to the One who never changes. As kids trek the tundra together, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true—and how Jesus helps us stay grounded. Through meaningful experiences, engaging stories, and hands-on discovery, they’ll learn that Jesus is our constant guide, our faithful friend, and the one we can count on no matter what.
Each day, kids will dive into exciting activities designed to take faith deeper. From exploring God’s Word in Sticky Scripture™, where Scripture moves from head to heart, to Wild Bible Adventures that bring Bible stories to life through movement and all five senses, to the wonder-filled experiments in Imagination Station, there’s something to spark every child’s curiosity and connect them to God in lasting ways. Every station reinforces a single, powerful Bible truth each day—helping kids apply God’s love and guidance to real life.
We’re also making a few thoughtful adjustments this year to help everyone have the best experience possible. We’ve planned a focused three-day experience filled with energy, purpose, and joy, knowing that sometimes less really is more. These days will be packed with faith, fun, and friendship—and we know kids will walk away remembering what matters most: Jesus is our True North.
True North VBS will take place July 14–16, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We welcome preschoolers (ages 3 through VPK) who are potty-trained, as well as elementary-aged children who will be entering kindergarten through 6th grade. Older students, from rising 7th through 12th grade, are invited to be part of the adventure by serving as volunteers—we love seeing our youth lead and grow in their own faith by helping younger kids.
As always, it takes a village to make VBS happen, and we’d be thrilled to have more adults and teens join our incredible volunteer team. We’ve also created an Amazon Wish List for those who would like to help by donating supplies—it’s a great way to support VBS even if you’re not able to be here in person.
