Kids Club May Series Preview

Have you ever watched a child create a piece of art? The colors swirl, the shapes take form, and with every brushstroke or pencil mark, their imagination comes to life. Sometimes, they may doubt their creation, but with encouragement, they begin to see its beauty.

This is exactly how God sees us—His masterpiece in the making!

This May, Kids Club is launching a brand-new series, Masterpiece in the Making, where children will discover that they are God’s unique creation, designed with purpose and love. Through art-inspired activities, hands-on learning, and meaningful discussions, kids will explore how God’s creativity is at work in them and how they can reflect His love to the world. Families can also join in the fun at home with weekly devotionals that build on each lesson, helping kids connect their faith beyond church.

What to Expect

Each week, we will dive into a new lesson that connects biblical truths with creativity:

? Week 1 – Created in His Image (Genesis 1:27, Ephesians 2:10)
Just as an artist carefully crafts a masterpiece, God made each of us in His image! Kids will create self-portraits and reflect on how they are wonderfully made to reflect His love and creativity.

? Week 2 – Made for a Purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10)
Every masterpiece has a purpose, and so do we!  The kids will explore the gifts and talents God has given them. We’ll also take time to celebrate the special people God places in our lives—like moms, grandmothers, and mother figures—who help shape us into who we are.

Week 3 – Created to Reflect God’s Glory (1 Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 3:17)
Like a beautiful painting that tells a story, our lives should reflect God's goodness. Through interactive activities, kids will learn how their actions and words can shine God’s love to others.

? Week 4 – Honoring Others by Living with Purpose (John 15:13, Romans 12:10)
Living with purpose means serving others with love. As we wrap up our series, we will talk about how we can honor those who serve selflessly, from everyday heroes to those who have sacrificed for others.

Why This Series Matters

In a world that often measures worth by achievement, we want every child to know that their value isn’t based on what they do but on who they are—God’s masterpiece. This series will encourage kids to embrace their God-given gifts, find joy in creativity, and live with purpose.

We can’t wait to see your child at Kids Club as we celebrate the amazing ways God has made each of us!
