This week, kids will hear how God called Samuel to be a prophet and messenger.

BIG IDEA: God tells me what is true.

BIBLE: 1 Samuel 3:1-20

ASK THIS

Because sometimes you and your kid need a conversation-starter that isn't, "So . . . how was church?"

How did Samuel obey God?

How can we tell the difference between what is true and what is untrue?

REMEMBER THIS

This month, your kids are memorizing the Bible verse 1 John 3:1a (NIV), in case you want to work on them together.

Next week, kids will hear how Samuel anointed Saul to become king.
