Did you know that America is one of the top mission fields in the world today? If you search America Mission Field, you'll find millions of articles about why America is the place to be right now to share the Gospel. We don't have to pack up our families, change our jobs, or uproot our lives. So how can we, the Church, think about ourselves as missionaries? That's what this series is all about.

This is a sharing Christ series. We will spend time reflecting on what it means to share Christ in our 3rd spaces.

So, what's a 3rd space? It's the space other than home and work where we enjoy spending time. It could be the gym, the park, a local music spot we like on weekends, or our kid's sports field. These spaces can even be virtual with a community you want to play games with online. Wherever you spend your free time, that's your 3rd space.

This series is all about finding where God works in these spaces and using them to connect people to the people of God (known as the Church).

As we've grown over the past year, I've heard that people want to maintain our smaller personal feel. I agree! One way to do that is to multiply into smaller expressions of who we are. These are different from small groups. A small group is when our members meet to build community connections outside worship.

A Fresh Expression is when our members go into the community and seek a place where God is working. We then join God in that space, multiplying our impact for God's Kingdom. We're seeking people who would not come to worship with us on Sunday for one reason or another.

By expanding into these alternative expressions, we spread God's love without having to create complicated programs or spending lots of money. Most importantly, we make significant impacts for God in our community!
