2nd Candypalooza

Last year, we did our first ever Candypalooza. It was such a hit, our children’s ministry team chose to do it again.On Sunday, October 29th, everyone who wishes is invited to come to worship in their Halloween costumes (please be sure it’s not provocative adults...this is still church 😉). The kids will have a costume parade on their way to Kids Club as we let them show off their characters. After worship, each child heads home with a bag full of candy and fun treats. Done ✔

The reason we love this event is that it’s a lot less work than a traditional Trunk-or-Treat and it brings families into worship. We do have some items needed for the event that you can help with: 

• Help fill the treat bags to the brim so every kid goes home feeling like they won the Jack-o-lantern Pot. Please bring these items before Oct. 22. 
  • All types of Candy 
  • Halloween themed snacks for younger kids (pretzels, fruit snacks, etc.) 
  • Non-Candy items (pencils, stickers, temporary tattoos, etc.) 
• Invite all the kids you know. This is one of those events that is all about bringing friends. Share the event on Facebook, hand out invite cards, etc. 
• Volunteer in Kids. We need extra volunteers for this Sunday. Consider helping out on this Kids' big day. 
• Help Decorate. We want the kids to be in awe as they walk in. Help us decorate in the days before. Contact Katie for more details.
