Advent Readers

We're 4 Sundays from Advent; it's hard to believe we're at that time again.

Advent is the beginning of the church year for Christians. During Advent, we prepare for and anticipate the coming of Christ. One of the ways is through a tradition called the Advent Wreath.

Starting November 26th, we'll start worship by lighting a candle and sharing in a reading. Families or groups are invited to participate in these readings. We'll also light candles on Christmas Eve.

The readings will be provided after you sign up and are around 1 page. This is a wonderful way to make our service multi-generational. You can have children help read or help light the candles, whichever you prefer. We do ask that you arrive 20 minutes before worship so you can see where you'll be standing, test your microphone, and your lighter.

There are no requirements to participate. You could have just started to attend our church or be a long-standing member. The only requirement is your desire to help us prepare for Christ's arrival.
