Make it Fun Preview

Everyone wants to enjoy life, but only some know how to put themselves in the right place mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to experience joy in the journey. This three-week message series will explain what fun is, how to permit ourselves to have fun, and how to add more to our lives.

This is a sharing Christ series. We'll look at passages in scriptures that talk about worship and joy and reflect on the difference in happiness and joy.

Humanity loves to have fun. We're always finding new ways to have fun with others and are drawn to new friendships through common pastimes. Fun is relational and has the power to bring people together. Fun can lift a person's Spirits and draw communities deeper into relationship.

We've talked about the importance of the Christian community through our Holy Boundaries series. We can't create these vital communities without having fun. When we look through scripture and human history, we see the thing that brings people together, more than hard times, common life issues, and social issues, is enjoying time together.

The goal to this series is to allow us to take a step back from taking ourselves too serious, and have a bit of fun. Maybe, even fun as a state of worship and spiritual growth.
