International Firefighter's Day

May 4th is International Firefighters Day.  On Sunday May 5th at their local 12:00 pm, Firehouses and others all over the country will pause to remember the men and women who are no longer with them by sounding off. Since we won't be together at that moment, I encourage you to take a moment to stop and pray for all of those who will be remembering a lost  friend or loved one..

You might notice if you drive by the church at night this week that the lights on Grace Place are shining red to join with others lighting up red. For 25 years across the nation, businesses and homes have turned on red lights to show their support for Fallen Firefighters. You can see us recorded as a business lighting up red:
I encourage you to take time this weekend and pray for the men and women who keep us safe, and for those who remember people they've lost.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
–Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)
