So Blessed

This week, I’ve had the time (and mental capacity), to slow down and really take everything in from last week. It was such a wonderful Sunday on the 12th. The business of Annual Conference delayed my ability to really enjoy it.

Many of you know by now, AJ and I were sick this past week. He actually started to get sick while we were in Montgomery. We took him to the doctor as soon as we arrived home to discover he had COVID, then I got sick a few days after. The one good time about being sick–you get to slow down a bit.

In my slowing down, I decided to reflect on all the things recently I’ve been blessed by:
  • Meeting All of You on the 12th (and our wonderful Brunch😋)
  • Getting to worship with you in-person after watching livestream for weeks
  • Spending time with AJ, Abigail, and my parents in Montgomery
  • Not having to feel guilty when I was sick, because ya’ll are AMAZING at leading
  • Bill’s message this past Sunday

Thank You church for already being an incredible church to serve!

I look forward to getting to a rhythm with you all. This week we’ll continue our sermon series called “In God We Trust.” This week‘s message is titled “Under the Influence.” I hope you’ll join me in-person or online. (Oh, and we’re working on figuring out what’s wrong with the FB live. Sorry about this mishap on Sunday. It published on my personal page, not the church’s.)
