Exciting Things for the Children & Youth
A lot's been done in a small amount of time! I want to give Katie a big thank you for all her hard work to get ready for the Back to School bash we had this past week. It was a different kind of Sunday from what we had in the past, but we consider it a success. The kids had fun, and we got to talk with some families we hadn't seen in a while.
- Kids' rooms were cleaned and refreshed for the start of the school year.
- We launched our new curriculum with this month's focus of "Blast Off," which looks at spending time with others.
- Our kid's program is available in the church app and on our website if your family is out of town.
We haven't forgotten about our middle school and high school students. We were excited to have 12 youth help out during Vacation Bible School! These fantastic students make it possible for the adults to keep up with the kids all day. Last week, Katie and Michael offered to take them out to dinner as a thank you. 4 students came to Chili's and spent time with us.
We're getting the youth room in Admin refreshed and ready for the Student Ministry Open House on August 28th. The youth will also focus on spending time with others as they study Royals in September.

- Kids Club meets Sunday during worship.
- Student Ministry meets Sunday from 5-7 pm, starting August 28th.
