Another Year's Impact
The Florida United Methodist Children's Home has been a part of our church's missions list since our founding. I love hearing all the stories that come from this incredible ministry as much as Val and Eddie love to go visit every year.
Last year, we chose as a church to downsize our missions list and focus on organizations that embodied who we are as a church, and those that give our congregation ways to get involved beyond spending money. Did you know you can go volunteer as a work team at the Children's Home, helping with projects around the property?

Thank You!

Eddie and Val Coppage, along with their granddaughter, dropped off a lot of Christmas gift cards today from Fleming Island UMC. They also brought some additional items to help make Christmas merry for the children. They're pictured here with Lisa Burke, our Assistant Development Officer, and Rev. Brian Carr, our Director of Church Relations.
Meet Rev. Brian Carr
Brian Carr, the Children Home's Director of Church Relations, will be with us in worship January 7th to deliver our message. You can also ask Brian questions about the ministry after worship. Be sure to mark you calendars so you can meet him.
