As we step into 2025, I can’t help but reflect on the challenges and trials many of us faced in 2024. Last year was tough for so many, but it also taught us resilience and the importance of staying grounded in our faith. While 2024 focused on discipleship, this year, I believe God is calling us to go even deeper—to make prayer the heartbeat of our lives and our church.

This year, we’re committing to a renewed focus on prayer as the foundation of our discipleship and spiritual growth. Prayer is the bridge between our struggles and God’s power, and it’s the key to transforming not just our church but our entire community. Will you join me in this journey of faith and action?

1. Start Your Small Group Meetings with Prayer

If you’re part of a small group, we’re asking you to dedicate the first 15 minutes of each gathering to prayer. Focus on lifting up:

• Our church and its ministries.
• Our nation and its leaders.
• A longing for Spiritual Awakening.

Imagine the ripple effect of prayers rising from every corner of our church family! Together, we can create a movement of prayer that invites God’s power and presence into every area of our lives.

If you’re not in a small group—or even if you are and want to pray more—join us on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the prayer room off the Worship Center. I’ll be leading these gatherings as we focus on:

• Weekly prayer requests submitted by our congregation.
• Our church’s mission and vision.
• Our nation and the need for Spiritual Awakening.

And don’t hesitate to bring your children along! Prayer doesn’t have to be quiet or formal; it’s about modeling a life of faith and showing our kids the power of calling on God together.

This year, we’re launching a prayer list (prayer chain) to ensure requests are shared and prayed over as soon as they come in.
