October Kitchen Visit

Last week, a group of church members, spent a rewarding morning volunteering at The Kitchen of Clay County. Together, they served 146 soup and sandwich lunches to individuals in the Middleburg community. It was a humbling and meaningful opportunity to share not only food but also love and support with those in need.
As we reflect on this Saturday’s service, we are reminded that this effort is much bigger than a single meal. It’s about fostering community, offering hope, and making sure no one feels forgotten. FIUMC is proud to partner with this incredible initiative and contribute to fulfilling a vital need in Clay County.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to future opportunities to support this mission. If you would like to learn more about The Kitchen of Clay County or how to get involved, a full list of their partners and supporters can be found on their website’s partners page.
