Bannerman Year 1 Complete

I want to share that the year ended strong with the Boomers and Bannerman!

They delivered 11 months of mailbox appreciations along with something in the workroom for the teachers. Along with these items, the Boomers also provided breakfast multiple times and an appreciation bar for Teacher Appreciation week that was "grab and go" style. We also started to work with businesses in our community to help multiply our efforts. A big thank you to Pizza Hut in Green Cove Springs, Wawa, Hagan Ace Hardware, The Corner Pocket, Parlor Doughnuts, Winn Dixie, First Watch, Dunkin' Donuts, Valentina's Italian Bistro, and LaCasita Mexican Restaurant.  Also a big thank you to the area restaurants that provided gift cards for Teacher Appreciation Week Door Prizes - Black Creek Cafe, Woody's BBQ, Bono's BBQ, Hurricanes Grill, Mojo's BBQ, Corks & Barrels, Gator Dockside, V-Pizza and Chick-fil-A.

When we toured the school, we learned that they have 4 different programs (you can read more in the "Visit to Bannerman" post). From this visit, we learned of other items that are needed by the school and I have listed some of them below.

This brand new group has not only made an impact in our community, but they are doing a great job at forming connections within our church. They had 24 different people participate from within our church, with an average attendance of 11 people. Numbers aren't the definition of success. What these things tell me is that these people have now formed friendships and connection with people as they serve God and our community.

Fantastic job everyone!
