Tired but Woah

I haven't had the blessing of being at a Vacation Bible School in many years. At my church in Ft. Walton Beach, our VBS was always the first week of June when the pastors had to attend our Annual Conference. We missed everything. Changing a VBS week is not something you do. It's a delegate balance in the church community ecosystem.

This year, I was so excited to be a part of it all. Val didn't assign me a job, so I could walk around and talk to the groups. So, I took pictures which is something I love to do. It turns out that the kids loved it too. Every day, at the end of the day, we showed a slideshow of the pictures. After Day 1, they got so excited when I showed up with my phone, hoping they would be on the screen. Our amazing volunteers helped because they ensured every child got their picture taken.

I've seen a lot of abounding love throughout our church. Our volunteers love the children, the children love the volunteers, and everyone loves each other. It's almost over, and I'll admit, we're all getting pretty tired (kids and adults). I feel so blessed to share this event with these amazing people of all ages.

I've shared a recap with what the kids have learned and pictures of each day. I encourage you to go back and look if you haven't yet.

THANK YOU to everyone who has made it possible for us to share Jesus with these 40+ kids this week!
